would you think it offensive if a clerk would have
the opinion that the United States of America should adopt the 1905
French Law on laïcité (secularity)

?

because it appears in light of the assassination of Samuel Paty
that blasphemy, such as Charlie Hebdo practises blasphemy
and how Samuel Paty showed his students , the right to be offensed
by a blasphemy is the constitutive right of any religion: to ask the
coreligionary faithful
to ask oneself a question is how the faithful becomes capable to think, and
in order to be a citizen, an adult,
it is impossible to be a citizen of the French Republic (this greek nation
of Philosophers)
if you don't think. France (only nation in the world to do so) requires you
to be a Thinker,
not only a handler of Opinions by the Media or Internet, as the United
States of America with its creeds & communities wants to mirror as
microcosms the whole world to a Macro Cosm.

in such a light, it should become obvious that the same should be true for
the United States of America: the citizen of this great nation of pioneers
of hunters and of grassowners, cannot be citizens and have rights
if they don't think. or should become able one day to consider so.
The figures of apriori assumptions of Ideology & Religion impede thinking.
Blasphemy is a shok to endoctrinment and is a test to any ideological
dominance
which might as a sickness hold its Empire over a Nation.
Blasphemy is a break in the sensori-motor Image - Movement - Rosselini.

as a conclusion i would say that the United States of America needs
urgently to
adopt in its current constitution an amendment which lay the foundation for
a laïcité (secularity) Law, for the citizen to become empowered & made
capable to blaspheme legally, the United States' citizens would
become thus finally able to think as much as did the Founding Fathers.

those Fathers who layd (as Constitution) an answer to any legal question,
but for this they had to think a question sent by the Divine Comic Father

we would even further and extend the right to blasphemy as the right for
any faithful of a religion to become a thinker in this Religion or a
professor in this Ideology

for example the DeleuzyGattarian ideology : it is the image lapse, the
brain between the action and the reaction whch enables to think the
transcendant Divinely Comic Father
without a brain you are incapable to have a friendly relation with the
divine Comedian, other than something superficial (such as the symtom is
the mecanic prayer, the robotic behaviour of the faithful)
it is thus a fallacious religion the one who empedes blasphemy in the
public sphere
a dishonest lie, such as explained Nietzsche in Genealogy of Morals

"Rien n'est vrai, tout est permis!"

le mensonge authentique , délibéré, "honnest" (sur la valeur duquel on peut
écouter Platon parler) (...) exigerait qu'ls ouvrent les yeux sur eux-mêmes
(...) (dissertation III, §19)

so in this light it becomes clear that the fluctuation of opinion in the
clerk of the Deleuzian Religion is important for the Constitution of the
USA as much as in France

opinion is not only a discussion on cheese, contrary to what sayd DG ,
opinion is as well the seizing fluctuation happening in the mind of the
clerk, shaping a question on the nature of the Comical Reality looming up
in him/her.

best,
Johnny Wayne Petterson
